I was born and raised Norway, and for centuries Norwegians have believed in the supernatural. As long as I can remember I listened to these tales as well as stories about trolls, gnomes and hulder. The wild nature of Norway has probably something to do with that. In any case,, I used to write stories and poems all the time while growing up, but strictly for my own enjoyment. I always threw them away convinced that no-one else would like them. I gave up writing when I got married and moved to America. The next years, I was busy raising a family and working as a substitute teacher and school counselor for a few years. However, my love of writing never left me, and I realized that was what I wanted to do.
